SANTA ANA

La tradición la conoce como Santa Ana o Ana casada con Joaquín madre de María y abuela de Jesús de Nazaret
Ana es conocida en hebreo como Hannah. Según el Protoevangelio de Santiago, un ángel visitó a Ana y a su marido que después de años de infertilidad, les dijo que concibieran a niño.
Ana prometió dedicar al niño al servicio del dios. Joaquín y Ana llevaron a María a vivir al segundo templo cuando esta tenía tres años de edad.
Ana es patrona de Quebec y de Bretaña, y patrones de las mujeres trabajadoras y mineros.
Cientos de pueblos la tienen como patrona.


Hoy es Santa Ana y es también mi patrona, sobre todo cuando no es una santa. ;)
